But a few things won't be changing

Recently a very well known Greek designer moved his production to China to save money. We refuse to do business with any such designer.

The beauty of our products is not in the silver, gold or stones, but in the workshops where they come to life. Our pieces are made by families & craftsmen - not companies and machines. All of them struggle to keep their businesses going and their families together, and it is from life's turmoil that the hard beauty of their art comes.

So we will not let any part of our 5,000 year tradition depart this land for the sake of profits. Because the true value, the value which cannot be seen in the photos, would be lost.

And we refuse to raise our prices too! Let the dollar weaken by another half euro & let gold rise another $300 per ounce before we do. Because the workshops are only half the beauty we speak of ~ the people who wear our pieces are the other ... and that's you ... and you deserve fair treatment, equality and happiness in this world ~ nothing less.
